Referrals are generally received from the Department of Juvenile Services (DJS), Department of Social services (DSS) or private clients. Upon receipt of the referral the client is contacted within 24 hours and an initial appointment is scheduled.

During the initial session consent forms are signed, demographic information is obtained and the grievance procedure is explained. The client and his family’s needs are assessed at this time and specific instructions that were given by the court will be reviewed.
